About

What’s most important to me is that my clients are defended to the fullest extent of the law. My clients are often just everyday people who wish they could have made better decisions and need help and guidance while navigating the intimidating process of the criminal justice system.

Having practiced as a deputy district attorney, deputy city prosecutor and defense attorney gives me valuable insight into defending my clients as comprehensively as possible. I appreciate the prosecution’s very high standard in proving every case it files. And when it fails to meet that burden, it’s my responsibility to ensure that all of my clients’ rights are protected to get their fair day in court.

Top Questions Clients Ask Me

Providing legal representation across the following California counties.

After my temporary license (pink carbon copy sheet) expires after 30 days, can I still drive?

When our office timely requests the DMV hearing, that pauses the suspension of your driver license while the hearing decision is pending. The DMV will send us a new extended temporary license to replace your initial pink temporary license.

Do I have to request a DMV hearing?

Our office will submit the written request for the APS hearing within 10 days of the incident date.

When will the DMV hearing be scheduled and when will we receive the police reports?

The DMV will typically calendar the DMV hearing for approximately one month after hearing is requested. And we expect to receive the police reports one to two months after the hearing is requested.

What will happen?

After we receive and have a complete picture of what the evidence is, we can preview what we expect will happen in your case. Until then, it is too early to tell.

Will I be fired by my employer for a DUI offense?

Every employer is different regarding what they consider fire-able offenses. Some employers view it harshly while it is unimportant to others. It goes without saying that if your employment and job duties depend on driving and having a valid driver license, then a DUI offense could have a severe impact on your employment.
