I served five years as a United States Coast Guard officer, where I developed discipline, integrity, and a strong commitment to protecting others. I am a former deputy district attorney during which time I handled misdemeanor, juvenile, and felony cases, and conducted over 20 jury trials. My experience and commitment to protecting others made joining The Meehan Law Firm the perfect opportunity for me, since I am able to fight for justice for each client, and ensure that they achieve the best possible outcome. Will I lose my driver's license because of my DUI arrest?
The DMV will automatically trigger a suspension of your driver's license when you are arrested for a DUI. We can request a hearing to fight the suspension where we will do everything in our power to challenge the veracity of the police reports and to protect your rights.
What Penalties am I facing on my DUI?
California treats DUIs very seriously and there are certain mandatory sentences that are in place after a conviction including at least 3 years on probation, DUI classes for at least 3 months and potentially installing an ignition interlock device.
What is you plan for my case?
We will be looking through all the available discovery on the case and will discuss any legal defenses that are available to us. I will also be speaking with the District Attorney to get us the best possible deal on the case.
